Bush wins!
Thomas M. Miovas, Jr.

Unfortunately, that's not the case, though everyone knows that
by now. I stayed up until after 3am central time for the latest
election results after it became clear the race was drawing
closer and closer. As of this morning Gore won the popular vote,
but Florida's electoral votes are still up for grabs -- which
means Gore may have won the popular vote, but it seems in favor
of Bush for the electoral votes, and he will become President.
BUT we may have to wait up to ten days for the overseas absentee
ballots to be counted to know for sure.
>Since the Republicans continue control of at least the House of

I have no idea what to make of a race this close. I don't think
it is encouraging, as since the candidates compromised on
everything they could while still being able to call themselves
Democrats or Republicans, this agonizing indecisiveness is just
what they -- and the country -- deserve.
