It portrays their reverence for the collective and their utter contempt for
the individual. In their minds -- eh hem -- the collective can do no wrong;
whereas only the individual can do evil. Assessing the collectivist regimes
giving rise to the terrorists as evil is totally contradictory to their
view of the collective.
