War!
Thomas M. Miovas, Jr.
[Note: This was written regarding the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001
on the World Trade Center.]
I think we should have already been bombing the various countries that
house terrorists and are now dancing with joy in their streets.
Even if it turns out that this terrorist attack was home grown -- as was
the Oklahoma City bombing -- terrorists around the world are now emboldened
with the dreadful site of the collapse of the World Trade Center in New
York City, the shutting down of our entire air infrastructure, the attack
on the Pentagon, the evacuation of Washington D.C., and sounds of Americans
on the talk radio airwaves waking up to the realization that we are
vulnerable to such atrocities.
Notice how no one is taking responsibility for this outrage -- for they
know it has gone too far and they fear retribution.
I say we give it to them NOW. The longer we wait, the more hesitant we
appear -- and they will see us as cowards.
As I was driving to work this morning (Tuesday, 9/11) and began to hear the
reports live across the radio, I shouted: NUKE THEM NOW!
The terrorist organizations and countries around the world want us to feel
fear and defeat.
I don't feel fear; what I feel is a seething anger the likes of which I
have never felt before -- and I want the revenge of sweet justice.
If this is never to happen again in the entire civilized world, we need to
take swift retribution against all terrorists -- foreign and domestic.
Take them ALL out at once -- immediately! -- because even if a particular
terrorist group was not responsible this time, it was not from a lack of
intent.
They want to live by a code of death.
We need to make sure they die by a code life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness.
