Who Owns America?
Thomas M. Miovas, Jr.
There is an interesting series of articles on the FoxNews web
site about rebellion beginning to ferment regarding the
confiscation of private lands due to dubious environmental
concerns, especially in the western United States. Entire towns
are practically being shut down, and they aren't going to take
it any more. Trouble is, this rebellion doesn't seem to be
principled enough to make the proper statements, though some
come close. Perhaps this is a clarion call for an ARI Media
campaign?
Quotes from the article:
www.foxnews.com/national/072100/whoowns.sml
"Americans used to sing along when folksinger Woody Guthrie
crooned, "This land is your land, this land is my land." But
times have changed, and some Americans are singing a different tune.
"They say they've lost their property rights, and even the right
to use public lands, to a federal government that kowtows to
environmentalists and ignores the wishes of private citizens."
