Where Ideas Are Brought Down to Earth!

Writings based on Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand

Ayn Rand's most popular novels are Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead which present her philosophy, Objectivism, in vivid characterizations. Metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, esthetics, and  politics are the five main branches of philosophy that she identifies. Utilizing her methodology, one can be rational about all aspects of life. These essays present my understanding of Objectivism.

Yaron Brook on CNN
Thomas M. Miovas, Jr.

I took the time to thoroughly read the entire transcript to the recent
appearance of Yaron Brook on CNN Talkback Live (The American Way: Conserve
or Consume?). The transcript contains a wealth of philosophic positioning
-- but I was especially impressed that *everyone* seems to be avoiding
saying Americans have to sacrifice. Now, **that** is significant and I can
only think ARI (or Ayn Rand directly, through her writings) has begun to
have somewhat of an impact on the culture of the United States of America.

Kudos to Yaron for remaining in focus and being right on the money during
this interview!
